Gift Options
At Bernard John we make sending a gift easy and receiving a gift a truly special experience
with our range of gift options. You'll be given the opportunity to make your order a gift
when you reach checkout.
Gift packaging
We've created a beautiful range of gift packaging for that extra wow factor. For €5, you can
have your gift sent in a stylish silver box, decorated with a gold ribbon. We'll also include
a greetings card, personalised with your own message.
Gift packaging is charged once per order, regardless of how many items are in that order.
Where possible, we'll wrap all your items together in one gift box.
Sending a gift
You can choose to have your gift delivered directly to the recipient at any Irish address
(Please note that when delivering to a recipient, your name and address will appear on the
despatch note sent with the gift item) or you can have it delivered to you. Alternatively, you
can have it sent free of charge to your Bernard John Store. However, if you do choose this
option, you will need to collect your order from the store yourself as we will need to see the
payment card used to pay, for identification purposes.
Gift cards
When you just can't decide what to buy, give them a Bernard John Gift Card and let them
choose for themselves. You decide how much you wish to spend, we credit the gift card and
they choose the gift. The gift card can be used as full or part purchase at any
Bernard John Store in Ireland. Any unspent balance is stored for future use and can be
topped up.
Please note that gift cards can only be bought in-store and cannot be redeemed online.
Gift card terms and conditions
· The balance on the gift card can be used for purchases at Bernard John as full
or part payment.
· You can add more value to your card at any Bernard John Store in Ireland.
To protect our environment's resources, please re-use the card by topping it
up for your own use or by passing it to a friend.
· In the event of 24 months of consecutive non-use, the card will expire and the
balance remaining will be deductive ("Use" for the purpose of these terms and
conditions includes a balance enquiry).
· The card may not be exchanged for cash, other vouchers or used as a deposit
on a credit agreement.
· No change will be given but the balance may be applied to future purchases.
· The minimum amount required to activate or top up the card is €1.
· As we do not collect personal information about gift card customers, we cannot
replace or reimburse the value of the card if it is lost stolen or damaged. Please
look after it carefully and treat it just like cash.
· The amount deposited on or redeemed from the card will be shown on the till
receipt for each transaction.
· The card balance may be checked in store.
· When you pay with a gift card, any remaining balance will be shown on your till
receipt and we update the balance on our secure database. To check your balance,
take your card to any Bernard John till.
· The card can be spent on any purchase at any Bernard John store in Ireland up to
the value held on the card.
· The gift card is not a cheque guarantee, credit or charge card.
· Bernard John reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to
time where it is necessary to do so. Any such change and action to be taken as a
result will be notified to customers in advance in all Bernard John stores.
· Bernard John Gift Cards are issued by Ballymoss Retail Ltd.
